When you attend a performance of the current Civic Theatre show, Nunsensations, The Nunsense Vegas Revue,

you will notice two lovely red velvet shoe chairs, similar to the one pictured here.  If you think you might

fancy owning a chair like that, now you can!

 Own a piece of Civic Theatre history!  Take a shoe chair home with you!

 Since our storage capacity at the theatre is severely limited, we cannot keep these beautiful chairs after

Nunsensations closes.

 Consequently, we have decided to make them available to our patrons, by auctioning them off in a silent auction. 

We have auction bid forms available outside the box office in the back of the theatre, or you may print a form from

this web page.

 Each audience will have the opportunity to bid on the chairs.  The two highest bids (one for each chair)

currently recorded will be announced at each subsequent performance.  Previous high bidders will be notified

if their bids have been exceeded.  All bidders may check on the current status of the bidding by checking this page.

 Bids will be accepted until the close of the show at our final performance on October 8.  At that point,

the bid winners will be posted on the website and we will make arrangements with the winners for payment and

delivery of the chairs.

 For tax purposes, any bid that exceeds the retail value of the chair will qualify for a tax deduction as a donation

to Civic Theatre over and above the fair market value, and we will give you a letter to that effect.

 Retail value of each chair is listed at $150.
